Center for Advancing Global Collaboration Conducts Research and Exchange Visit to the International Campus of Zhejiang University

    On July 3, Tian Mei, Director of the Center for Advancing Global Collaboration of Fudan University (hereinafter referred to as “the Center”), led a delegation to the International Campus (Haining) of Zhejiang University for research and exchange. The two sides engaged in cordial and in-depth discussions on topics including Sino-foreign cooperative education, talent cultivation models, and the operational mechanisms of international campuses.

    During the exchange, Tian Mei noted that the achievements of Zhejiang University’s Haining International Campus in Sino-foreign cooperative education are widely recognized, and that its pioneering efforts in institutional innovation are particularly worthy of study. She expressed hope that, within the broader framework of coordinated development in the Yangtze River Delta region, the two universities could move forward together, deepen collaboration, and achieve high-quality joint development.

    Li Min, Party Secretary and Vice Dean of the International Campus of Zhejiang University, congratulated the Center for Advancing Global Collaboration on its establishment. He remarked that the creation of the Center demonstrates Fudan University’s strategic foresight in advancing educational internationalization. Against the backdrop of accelerating changes in the global higher education landscape, he emphasized that the two universities should continue to strengthen mutual trust, expand cooperation pathways, and jointly explore higher-level models for international collaboration and talent cultivation.

    Other representatives attending the meeting from Zhejiang University’s International Campus included Ke Yuehai, Dean of the Zhejiang University–University of Edinburgh Institute; Wang Hongwei, Vice Dean of the Zhejiang University–University of Illinois Institute; Xue Qian, Deputy Director of the Planning and Development Office; Mo Shenjiang, Vice Dean of the Zhejiang University International Business School; and Chen Jingyan, Vice Dean of the same school.

    Members of the Fudan delegation also included Xu Yefang, Deputy Director of the Center for Advancing Global Collaboration, as well as representatives from the Institute for Brain-Inspired Intelligence Science and Technology, the Institute for Intelligent Nano Robotics, and the College of Computing and Intelligence Innovation.
